Where did I first hear the word “hi”? Probably some old black and white American movie on a rainy Sunday afternoon. That was when we got our main dose of North American culture back in Scotland when I was a kid.
So it always has an old 50s feel to it for me, but that’s OK, I’m a retro kinda guy.
