Quite often the last pieces of a series are the best ones, but they don’t always get a chance to be seen, because I’ve started a new series before the next show season. Also, I have paintings that I found it hard to let go of, it can be hard to say goodbye to a breakthrough piece or one you’re really proud of.

Most of these paintings are from my Birch Tree collection (mixed media works featuring phototransfers of birch trees from around Toronto) and Reflections collection (celebrating the abstract patterns on water surfaces).
