Equinox

equinox
/ˈekwəˌnäks,ˈēkwəˌnäks/

noun
The time when the sun crosses the plane of the earth’s equator, making night and day of approximately equal length all over the earth.

A balancing point between summer and winter. Do we constantly look back to the ease of summer, finding it hard to tear ourselves away from the warmth? Or do we embrace the change and what may come? Do we enjoy the riot of colours that nature throws at us and look forward to crisp days of hot chocolate and blankets? Or do we feel that the best is over and wallow in what used to be, unable to move on?
